Playhouses Games and Activities

Playhouses GamesIn this short blog there are several fun playhouses games.  They are either free or usually games made with items that you might have already.

Object Hide and Seek

This game is a version of the traditional Hide and Seek game.  It’s where one kid takes an object and hides it inside the playhouse while another kid counts to twenty and closes their eyes while standing outside of the playhouse.

Board Games

Jenga Playhouses GamesYes this is the obvious.  If there is a good sized table or a nice rug kids can take a board game and play it inside the playhouse.  Games such as Jenga, Sorry or Trouble are easy to take over to the playhouse and play them.

Card Games

There are so many great card games that can be taken into the playhouse to play.  First is Memory, which is great for toddlers and little kids.  Memory can even be played with a regular deck of cards by matching the numbers up.  Secondly there are a collection of games that are great for ages 4 (or close to 4) and up such as Go Fish, Old Maid, War, and Slap Jack.

Puzzles and Coloring Books

Crayola Wonder Playhouses GamesThere are so many large puzzle piece puzzles out there.  It’s just a matter of finding one your little one likes.  Secondly coloring books are really great, especially when you can teach the colors as your little one is coloring.  Lastly there are coloring books that can allow your little ones to color without getting the color on anything else.  An example of one collection is to the left.
